The Versailles Grand Masked Ball happens Saturday, June 27th, 2026, at L’Orangerie inside the Château de Versailles. Tickets are sold exclusively through Château de Versailles Spectacles — there is no official resale platform. The dress code is 18th-century-inspired attire with a mask, and the mask is enforced at the gate. No mask, no entry.

Are Versailles Grand Masked Ball 2026 Tickets Still Available?
No. Every tier for June 27, 2026 is sold out through the official seller. This has been the pattern for the last several years — tickets go live, they vanish, the rest of the world finds out it happened.

Which Versailles Ball Ticket Tier Should You Choose?
After going at the Fantastique level and watching friends do every tier, here’s how I think about it.
Go Billet Simple if it’s your first ball and your goal is just to be inside. You’ll dance, you’ll see the fountains, you’ll catch the fireworks, you’ll experience the full sensory overload of Le Grand Bal Masqué. You’ll wait in line for drinks like a normal person, which honestly is fine.
Go VIP if you want comfort without the maximum spend. Two glasses of champagne, a buffet, a reserved area to retreat to when your corset wants you to die. This is the sweet spot for most attendees.
Go Fantastique if you want the full experience. You’ll still have to get there early if you want prime seating near the stage. Priority parking can matter if you’re not staying at the hotel nearby. The Fantastique lounge gives you the nice breaks and front-line access to a buffet of food.
No matter which ticket you buy, the dress code and atmosphere are identical. Everyone gets access to the Orangery gardens, the pre-party firework show, and if you make it to daybreak… a café breakfast with croissants (tucked away in a charming hidden nook in the gardens).
When Do Versailles Grand Masked Ball Tickets Go on Sale for 2027?
Tickets typically go on sale in late autumn or early winter — 2026 tickets dropped on December 4, 2025. There’s no fixed annual date, the announcement window is extremely short, and Fantastique sells out first. You have to be ready to pounce the moment they go live.

Full transparency: Full transparency: I don’t personally know anyone who’s gotten tickets this way. But it costs you nothing to ask, and they do release returns close to the event. Send a polite email in French if you can.
2. Join the Community
